INTENTIONALLY WORKING OUR WAY OUT OF A JOB
For three years in a row Growth for Good, with Liliana Marques as the point person, successfully led the Fiver Children’s Foundation Annual Benefit, after helping increase revenue by 60% in the first year. We helped take the event to the next level, while building capacity in the development department. New fundraising strategies around board engagement, honoree selection, host committee recruitment, and consistent communication with board of directors were introduced. Key program recommendations such as hiring a professional charity auctioneer, recruiting a professional master of ceremonies, and the production of a detailed and scripted run of show helped ensure the night’s success. Each year our role has diminished, as we intentionally work our way out of a job.
