STRATEGIC AND PROGRAM PLANNING THROUGH LEADERSHIP TRANSITION

In May of 2017, Pajama Program decided to expand its programs and transferred leadership from it’s Founder to a new Executive Director. Although the organization had a strategic planning committee focused on key priorities, they did not have a written plan or plan to increase its bedtime education and advocacy programs. Growth for Good was brought in to conduct stakeholder and market research, and to write a strategic and program expansion plan for 2018-2020. Consultants Claudia Zeldin and Karen Hartshorn Hilton facilitated monthly planning team meetings with Pajama Program’s leadership and staff to determine and refine their strategic growth goals and measurable objectives and refine their program impact plans. Growth for Good also helped the staff develop a detailed action plan with tactics, team and timing.

“Growth for Good’s strategic plan will take us to new heights. Their creative approach to our programming gave us formidable new ideas—always grounded in achievable action steps. They are unique in that they go the extra mile. The degree of attention and care that they have shown us is above and beyond. We will certainly call on the team at Growth for Good in the future. They are an absolute joy to work with and know!”
